Hot New Player 8GB widescreen LCD 3 "(for lack of a better name) is thin, very compact and very lightweight. I wish I had an electronic balance to give you a number. It is mostly plastic and contributes to its lightness. It makes no sense, as the solid metal other units are sure to have, but the light weight also makes it very portable. It 'really easy to take, especially for younger hands. The finish is glossy black quality and price, with a good construction and nothing at all that miserable.
