A buddy of mine is trying to sell me his 32″ Konka LCD TV. This TV is pretty poor quality ,but I mean it’s still a LCD TV..anyway on the back of the TV it says the manufacturing date was October 2006 and the model number is KDL32AT23U.
If anyone has any suggestions or how much I should depreciate the tv from an original price that would be great! Thanks!

I understand the advantage of hdmi (carries both video and audi), but you can get resolutions well past 1900×1080 on my video card (course my 17″ LCD only goes 1280 and 10xx, anyway). I have pleny of vga cords – no dvi’s
My video card has vga out, Dvi Out and S-Video out.
I am hooking it up to an LCD 32″ (720p, 1080i)

I’ve been searching everywhere and there are different tvs with different contrast ratios. Some say UP TO some very high number and othes have low ones. What do you recomend?

We are moving and our new living room is very small. Is a 32 inch LCD going to be OK? Any one have one in their living room?

So I just bought this great television. When playing with the picture settings, what do I want to put the contrast on, the brightness on, sharpness on, etc.?
Thank you very much. I do not have an HDMi cable at the moment.

I am not a complete electronic illiterate when it comes to hooking things up, but both manuals stated that I ONLY needed a HDMI cable to hook the two units up. Did that but no picture? Have two HDMI’s on tv and tried both neither played dvd. Am I forgetting any other connections? Is there something I need to format in either product? This is My Mothers Day present to me nightmare! Help please!
