does a 720p hdtv look good with blu ray
You’ll want to try a different coaxial cable. And yes HDMI supports 720p, but component is virtually the same (red, green, blue). I wouldn’t recommend using the RCA cables with a HDTV.
i bought a 19 inch sylvania 720p for 150 and it sucks when i try to watch cable on it idk why. and does a hdmi make xbox 360 look beter?
i gots the same tv…but it came with a different remote
720p looks much better then 1080i.
If it’s not High-Definition, I won’t watch it.
blow it up? nah, 720 and 1080i are pretty much identical
Do you have HD cable?
i am buying one of these next week..what will i see differently with my ps3 through this compared to it playing through my standard def tube tv? since the graphics already look great
Yes, definitely.
does the ps3 look good in that tv?
Input Select…. If you used the green, blue, and red cables it will be component. If you used the yellow, white, and red cables it will be simply “Video”.
I used a crappy coaxial (that has now been replaced) to shoot the video. Now that I have a better cable, the picture is clear as crystal.
what are those little white dots all over the place? i am buying one of these soon
omg i swear to god my t.v. does the same thing nd after a while it starts to shut off if you keep playing it nd gets rlly loud cracking noises
Most CRT’s are around 75hz.
I’ll admit this TV has more blur than most, but I can live with it. Without blur motion is nothing.
CRT is only 60 hz as well but doesn’t have blur!
Well, some companies do kind of make the cables cheap. $20 is too much, yes, but I’d always go for a well-known company. Never go generic; it won’t get as good as quality, but more importantly, it will stop working after a few months. X_X But don’t buy more expensive if it’s like Sony vs. Philips cable LOL
Well it IS only 60hz. If you don’t like blur I’d recommend buying a plasma.
Don’t pay more than $10 for an HDMI cable. They’re all basically they same. I paid $20 for one because I didn’t want to wait for a delivery, and it works fine. Even $20 is kinda a rip off.
I recently purchased this, but it bothers my eyes because whenever there is fast movement on a PS3 game or even on a DVD or TV, there is a slight blur.
I’m going to trade this in for a Samsung… hopefully it won’t have the same problem.
dude can you make another video but this time show how good the ps3 seems when connectedd to hdmi please i need to be sure before i buy this thing
uhh i have an xbox 360 i put the cabels in it and nuthing shows up no noise no notheing i need help :O
1080i is truly just 540p, two sets of 540 lines flicker on and off(too fast for the human eye to notice) to create a picture.
In my opinion, just use 720p. Fast moving objects have much less studder and jagged edges.
Check the TV’s video modes for “Gaming” Mode. This mode cuts most of the video processing time down so the lag ceases to continue. Good luck.
Umm… did something fall in it??? When it goes from an input screen to a game, it’ll make a “pop”. LCD’s do that. But if it’s happening while you’re playing the game…then that’s not good.
